You're forgetting that the islands were smaller and clustered up in bunches to be roughly equivalent to these updates, and Tsurumi Island was really tiny. 3 islands = rainforest 2 islands = desert 1 tsurumi = desert 2 enkanomiya = desert 3 The outlier is we also got the Chasm during 2.x but it sounds like that one was in development for a looong time. --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
