It's a gorgeous day. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and there's an ear-melting scraping sound coming from the highest balcony of the opposite apartment complex. A lone console sits on the concrete below, lightly toasted by the hot tarmac.

It's very clear where the scraping is coming from - the balcony is home to a huge arcade machine of indeterminate make and model, and it's being pushed towards the edge by a pair of miscreants, clearly using all of their might. It reaches the railing, and the figures crouch, before heaving the cabinet over the edge. It plummets to the ground in an instant, narrowly missing the console right next to it, which escapes unscathed.

"Huh. That's not what was meant to happen."

Sultan has been lynched! He was Arcade Cabinet, TOWN Quickdraw Vengeful.

What a beautiful machine. If it wasnt for you, gaming as we know it wouldnt exist. Theres many, many different types of cabinet, and I frankly couldnt settle on one, so you get the whole selection. Unfortunately, Im of the opinion that most arcade games have aged fairly poorly. Most fighting games or the original Donkey Kong are good, though! And the feel of chunky arcade sticks and buttons are almost irreplicable. Im not sure if this is a wider-ranging phenomenon, but Ive seen a huge resurgence of arcade cabinets around where I live, mostly in gaming-themed bars. My first thought when talking about arcade machines these days, though, is one of Neil Cicieregas many earwormy songs, Cabinet Man, in which a maneating arcade machine is destroyed by some pesky kids. Should you suffer the same fate in this game, youll get your revenge.

As a Vengeful, you may at any point choose a player to take aim at, via PMing me. This player will be shot by you instantly at the moment of your death. You may change your target any number of times. If you are killed at night, your moment of death will be considered the night action deadline, typically one hour before the start of a day cycle. You may also choose not to target anyone, but wheres the fun in that? You will only be seen to visit someone if you kill them via your targeting.

You win when all threats to TOWN have been eliminated.
