The sheep-man appears in a mouldy bathroom at a low angle. Behind him, there is a rusty tub, square in the middle of the cameras shot.

Finally, we hit our target and weve got another console to break! Lets do this.

Over the course of what appears to be hours of timelapsed footage, the bathtub slowly fills as he brings a bucket in and out of the room, tipping a few litres of water in with each trip. By the end of the process, he is clearly struggling and in pain possibly due to the fact that theres few enough sheep remaining in his stack that he now lacks arms, and must use his mouth to transport it.

The timelapse comes to an end, and, panting and rasping, the sheep-man collapses and lets out a desperate bleat. His aide waddles into the room, console in stubby pink arms. Upon another bleat, it is tipped into the water with a splash, before a comically unconvincing sparking sound and visual effect comes from the water.

Good work, Kirby.

Peaf has died! He was NES, TOWN Odd/Even Jailkeeper/Commuter.

The NES really is the console that defined how modern video games are produced you dont need me to explain Mario or Zelda or their influence to you. Compared to other consoles of its time, its a nice-looking machine with a comfortable controller and games that still hold up to this day. In our modern era of rereleases, we even got a rare console rerelease from Nintendo multiple times, as they kept pulling the NES Mini (or Classic, whatever you wanna call it) from production before putting it back out there. I think the game industry is still a little trapped in the format it is because of the NES success just look at how influenced modern Nintendo games are on wanting to recreate some of the magic of those NES games. At the same time, it single-handedly saved the home console gaming industry from complete destruction with how far above its competitors it was, so its a little hard to complain too much. As hard as I try.

On the first night of the game, you must pick to either Commute, or to Jail. You may choose to not use your Jail action, even if you choose it as your night one ability, but you must Commute every other night. You will alternate between these actions each night the first ability you use will be designated to odd nights, and the second to even.

As a Jailkeeper, you may pick a target every other night. Your target will be roleblocked for that night, but they will also be protected from shots.

As a Commuter, all actions targeted at you every other night will result in failure.

You win when all threats to TOWN have been eliminated.

So I'm super surprised. I knew Peaf died a tiny bit early because he got removed from our neighbor chat. Peaf told me he was commuting last night, which means Scum somehow killed him through his commute. I really doubt scum had a way to kill through commute past Strongman AND Roleblock, so the idea of some kind of Mafia Backup makes sense. Or maybe delayed death to explain the no kill yesterday? I want to know who first brought up the option of a Mafia backup.

At least this proves to me my logic on Lopen was right, since my neighbor chat went through even though he was a compulsory commuter.

No, I think Peaf lied about his order of operations. There is no way you successfully targeted him a night he commuted.

Before we get too sidetracked by that though, I do want to say that Peaf and I both thought that Ctes is still scum. Looking at how the votes went down yesterday,

The people on Ctes were Chris, who had to be, and then the three town-core in Peaf/Wallz/Me. That means that scum chose to lynch Chris over Ctes, likely because he was the spent strongman and wanted to preserve Ctes' power.

Peaf also did a D1 review and said he thought the last scum was Sultan. I agreed with him that with both D1 Lopen not pressuring Sultan, and Chris' effort to clear Sultan, that I can no longer let him just slide on my personal town read of him. I did the MYLO math and we do still have an opportunity to test Sultan today without throwing the game, so the strategy we wanted to come into today with was to lynch Sultan, and have Sultan point his gun at Ctes.

I'm always down to just straight up lynch Ctes instead, but Sultan is a conversation we should have today.

Oh also, one last thing to make you guys mad at me, because you may think me not just coming out with this would have damned Chris more. But Chris claimed (lied) to give vests to Red, Marth, and Wallz. To be fair, this didn't jump out to me as a red flag immediately, because he would have given that vest to Marth on the day we lynched Lopen, and Marth had an inno scan on him, but in retrospect I probably should have thought about that more as that means he already trusted MZero's scan at that point?

But while I think MZero is basically confirmed town now, and thus believe the inno scan on Marth, it is worth mentioning that Chris lied about giving a vest to Marth in the event that some endgame make us think he's a Godfather.

I'm just going back through my Peaf convo again because he didn't really leave me a last will, because neither of us expected him to die. Basically where he ended up was thinking that both SBell and Ulti looked town, and he suspected Ctes/Sultan/Corrik/Marth basically in that order.

Notably Peaf had a similar analysis where he basically said that all known scum voted for town on D1, and there was no bussing, and because he thought you and SBell both looked good for other reasons, that Sultan was the odd one out.

He also pointed out that Sultan and Chris just played a scum game together where they heavily bussed Chris, so he thought it would make sense for them to not bus at all D1 just to not play the same way again. But that's just speculation on his part.

Lea also was scum with you in that bussing game, so I dunno. You did go after Lopen a bit, so I'm not saying it's an airtight condemnation, just relaying Peaf's thoughts about Chris defending you and you not going after Chris until the very end yesterday.

I could see that as scum deciding to sack the Strongman at the end and you coming in to vote him for that reason despite showing no interest in moving off of MZero earlier in the day.

Yes and No.
I did think Chris could have talked his way out of a lynch if he wanted to. Seemed like a smooth Talker and made me second guess it. But I ultimately was just on yeah bullshit a Ninja Roleblocker exist and rhe fact Chris was entertaining it is when I settled and voted Chris cuz that was just odd.
Plus I thought it was more important to resolve the watch then play weird theories of Ninja roleBlocker bullshit

I am also surprised. I fully expected myself to die. I watched Dumey because I assumed peaf was commuting and I cant watch myself.

I believe the likeliest explanation is a second strongman. Part of Chriss flip was redacted (sheep, any idea when the British government will allow you to declassify that information?) and Im guessing it has to do with how peaf died.

Delayed death does not make sense because we wouldve seen two deaths overnight, since there was no way for us to prevent a kill last night.

Sweet, having sultan point his gun/gun at ctes is what I was thinking too. If sultan is town he can take out scum when he goes. If sultan is scum we can take out scum when he goes. Lol

It's a cool theme, and like Ulti is reminding us of flavor meta being bad, we shouldn't assume that to be true just because I'm pointing it out. I just think it's fun.

With 9 alive, 2 dead scum and a likely mafia backup, I'll listen to any meta anyone wishes to present.

I think ulti seems most town after me, Dumey and mzero. Preferred lynch order would be sultan -> ctes -> sbell/marth, probably sbell first because while marth has made me more suspicious, from a sheer probability standpoint its probably dumb to lynch an inno scan, even with possibility of godfather, over a miller claim

thats a bridge that doesnt have to be crossed until later, if at all
