I've been using Himeko (my only 5-star character) a bit too, but apparently she's one of the weaker 5-star characters. Whatever, I'm just playing to enjoy the story anyways. As long as I can eventually beat all of the story stages, I don't care all that much about having the best characters, maxing out the ones I do pull, or falling behind other players in terms of progress. If you can get to Forgotten Hall level 3, I recommend doing that.
