How much limited shit have I missed out on? That's a big hangup of mine lol, if I were to start today would I be able to get anything that's "missable" or am I just too late?
Technically nothing. but they've got a quirky way of phasing content. There's two main ways to acquire Identities, Extraction and Dispenser. Everything is then divided into 3 types of items.

Extraction Identities and EGO - Obtained from gacha rolls.
Battle Pass IDs and EGO - Obtained from the Battle Pass
Event IDs and EGO - Obtained from Events. (Might include Event IDs and EGO from the gacha, not 100% sure on that)

Season 1 Extraction items will be kept in Season 2's Extraction pool
Season 1 Extraction items will be removed from the Dispenser
Season 1 Battle Pass content will be moved to the Season 2 Dispenser
Season 1 Event content will be removed.

So other than the Event stuff which is still running for another two weeks thanks to an extension it's possible to get everything in the game still. It'll just become slightly more difficult as the seasons roll by. The event rewards are pretty good, but to be honest I found the Identities and EGO rather lackluster. So if you grind hard starting now-ish you should be able to catch up and get the event stuff, but you won't be missing stuff if you fall short of the goal. The event content will probably return next year anyways, though there's been no official word of that yet.

Here's the official tweet on the subject. Note that the dates are wrong due to a 2-week extension on Season 1 and the number of IDs has changed. Also, currently NOTHING has been phased out yet. Event stuff will only phase out either once the event is done or the seasons roll over. There's only 4 items, 1 ID and 1 EGO tied to the event itself, and 1 ID and 1 EGO tied to the gacha and related to the event.

Also...everyone low-key hates this event. The story is phenomenal as usual, but the grind is kind of aggressive and the enemies hit hard enough that you can't auto-battle, which is exactly what you want to do in a grindy event like this.
