I had a couple friends I met online while playing White Wolf RPGs back in the late 90s/early 2000s but I've fallen out of touch with more or less all of them. Ironically, the only person I met online back then that I still talk to at all is my girlfriend. Everyone else I socialize with is someone I met in school and have stayed friends with for decades, people I met working, or people I met through other people.
