I kinda wanted to get into it and it has a historical userbase that already existed fine (albeit less than the porn days) so it feel reliable

but damn if i don't find the culture intimidating and I don't know what the heck I'm supposed to do with the place, like apparently there's a whole etiquette around reblogging instead of replying and i feel so old and confused. it's weird because it functionally seems like it just has the same stuff as Twitter but then the way it's treated is different

I also remember talk in November of pillowfort as a pre-existing network that was pretty lowkey but building attention during the drama but I have absolutely no idea if it lead anywhere or build itself up

PS I forgot to mention Hive was mobile-only, it said they'd be working on it but like everything else over there the staff is incredibly inept so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon if ever
