I remembered the gist what happened in the but I wasn't expecting the vivid flashbacks to the first time I beat the game. I didn't really think about it until a while ago but the whole plucked from a dream Zanarkand (which also describes the ending of a previous playthrough) to go on the adventure again lends itself to replaying after a while so well.
