So in Skyward Sword, they keep talking about the ancient past, and the last time Demise was around, and the last time the goddess walked the earth and all of that. So what if time is circular and BotW/TotK are both the beginning and end of the timeline. So when they talk about the ancient past, theyre also talking about their far off future, which is TotK.
