We watched Netflix's The Strays last night to add to the list. It's... a really interesting concept but I can't help but feel the film had something to say, but didn't quite say it well enough for me to give it a chef's kiss. What brings the movie down a bit for me is like a lot of films, it lacks a likable protagonist to get behind, which I usually find difficult to score highly. It's not impossible of course, but I feel like the film had 3 villains and one of them was supposed to be the main character as well. --- :> Truly smilin' ... Copied to Clipboard! |
