It's another of those songs with a gloopy, alien feel to them which is still neat, but my memories of various experimental alien songs are getting jumbled togeher these days. Like it just stopped and I don't exactly remember anything from the past few minutes... ========================== - ========================== Thomas Dimuzio + Gregg Bielski - Yesterday Died And Tomorrow Won't Be Born: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrzHQ-H-dNs Estimated Score: 60.00 The droning and repetitive beat that carries on for the first two minutes of the song feels rather tedious to me, but around 2:45 there's this deep spiritual shift that feels like evolving to a higher state of being. It's a unique feeling! Then we get some buzzing noises, very "alien insect swarm" thing and robotic... kinda like an organic version of the Ultimate version of Galactus (Gah Lak Tus)?? Hard to place this song on only one listen. I loved the ascension part, disliked the opening, and haven't worked out how I feel about the last two minutes of the track. I'd say that I'd probably start with this in the Clump? The experience is novel enough that I feel fairly good about saying I liked it. ========================== Not a bad way to spend the morning, but I feel I should find some other tracks later...
