It's basically the practice of being aware of your thoughts and making a conscious effort to improve them (while also recognizing positive things in your life).That was something he said we were going to try, but then it never went further. After I quit, I did buy a cognitive behavior adjustment self help book, but didn't make it very far in before I got distracted. I wonder if I still have it somewhere, I'll have to look for it. I was also on antidepressants at the time. Neither therapy or medication seemed to make a difference. Outside of giving me side effects. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
