Yeah, but schools dont talk about it before then.

I live in CT. A blue state. The first talk of periods is in 6th grade and is very lacking. They have another class in 8th and they didnt even go into how to use condoms. BTW I think they taught it better 30+ years ago when I had it because sure as hell my parents didnt discuss jack with me. I have no hang ups so I filled in the blanks with my kids.

So everyone up in arms here should actually find out when their own states discuss it. Its going to be around 6th grade.

The thing is it will be brought up at your childs yearly check up with your doctor. They will discuss it. Because its not out of nowhere when a girl gets her period. Her pubic hair starts growing about 2 years before.
