| the_rowan 03/19/23 12:31:08 AM #36: | My reaction to hearing someone accuse anything or anyone of being "woke" is to immediately assume the following: 1) The thing they are describing did something that, in any way, shape or form, portrayed empathy towards other human beings or in any way portrayed someone who wasn't a straight white male in a positive light. 2) They have been told this is a bad thing by their beloved racist, sexist figureheads, but don't think of themselves as racist or sexist, so they have to come up with some reason the other side is evil instead, hence "woke". --- "That is why war is so tragic.
