Another really cool thing removed was the rng and live selection . The original had randomized item locations for specific items. There were also different ways you could approach progression and how it affected the story. Nemesis appearing at random locations depending on where you went and what you did. Live selection was a cool feature that has never been replicated in an RE game

Oh yeah, no mercenaries. I freaking hate what they did to this game. The original was one of the best survival horror games and they screwed it.
