Yeah, I don't really get it myself. Never been to one. Wouldn't go with friends, wouldn't go myself. I assume the idea is that you go with a group to prove to each other what starchy, virile young bros you all are by admiring the waitresses. I assume it works if you're into bro culture.

As for etiquette, I would assume the game is that they try to get you to look and you try not to let them catch you staring. If they catch you you have to pretend you weren't staring and you're a creep if you don't. The waitresses either like being the center of attention or have disdain for everyone there on principle. Or both.

I feel like I should go to one sometime just to get my dude badge...but that's not gonna happen for many reasons, not the least of which being I don't really want to.
