If you want a story, that's what books and film are for. If you want gameplay, that's what real video games are for. A turn based RPG has never merged both aspects in a satisfying manner; the gameplay is unfulfilling and only acceptable if lack dexterity and mental sharpness; and secondly, you have to deal with the story being broken up among those fruitless ventures. kotor, dragon age origins (it's turn based, just doesn't look like it) gladius. also, how is animal crossing gameplay more "real" than turn based games? --- Snowflakes of today: "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will ALWAYS hurt me." ...
