Driving in winter conditions in the dark is objectively more dangerous than driving in winter conditions in the light. I have a rural highway commute in the morning. If a deer or coyote is on the road ahead in the dark, I could be in trouble if I have to slam on the brakes on ice.

And I can't just choose to ignore society and show up an hour late for work.


don't drive so fast that you have to slam on the breaks if conditions are bad then. it's like you are a Californian driving in the rain....

slow down based on road/weather
