And questions about the specifics of the poll, but it's in line with like, NC voting for a Dem Governor at the same time as Trump over their bathroom bill fiasco. This stuff does not have half of America on board, it's an election loser. None of that stuff, of course, reduces the threat posed by the GOP and the most motivated anti-trans activists on this issue. The problem with stuff like that, is those people will still 100% vote for ** republicans who are pushing this stuff. You see it all the time with the right wingers on gamefaqs when they come in and do their one line bullshit like "Based!" when DeSantis or Donnie, or some other shit stain GOP politician doesn't something horrific. You question why they like said person and list off all of the bad things they did and do the standard "Well I don't support THAT stuff!" It's the same shit with those polls.
