At minimum, you need the 1 UR of the fusion and the lvl 11 synchro, 1 of the lvl 8 synchro. Having more is for turn 3 and on, but you never use more than 1 per turn as all the effects are once per turn. You can always run just like 2 of the SRs, make 2 lvl 8s, fill the rest with like rank 8 Xyz to facilitate Zeus, or some summon spam and link spam sub-engine that can facilitate summoning Avramax with IP or something like that.

You can also run a small Nemesis engine like I am in order to summon Colossus. A good tournament deck also ran a small Magician's Soul side engine in order to summon Herald, the lvl 4 synchro.

It's pretty flexible, but you do need the minimum amount of all the things I listed. Otherwise you shouldn't bother running PUNK imo. There are probably better engines. But if you do run like full PUNK with a sub-engine that's self sufficient (Mathmech, Therion, Naturia as all the important PUNK tuners are earth, Nemesis), it's very very good from what I tested if you manage to have all those pieces
