Every AI topic is just painfully stupid, and the only reason I can tell is because I work with AI and am familiar with it. That makes me think that every topic is stupid, and I just don't see why because I'm not an expert.

Like this one, where people base an entire argument off the idea that "only corporations will be able to afford the images to train with in the future if we implement this one rule to help protect artists"

(because there's no way an artist would opt-in to have their art help train an AI for any reason ever, no, it has to be this exact scenario against the general consensus and wishes of the art community)
