whoowhee finally out of the desert level. what a fucking arc; i am impressed with how OP has been so far. so much so that I am watching the filler at the end of the arc and just savoring my team with the crew. while the episodes do not have much substance, it's further exploring these characters and what makes them who they are. last episode was the fireworks i got to.

gotta say, i really enjoyed the wind down in alabasta. especially the episode where luffy wakes up and the feast. the damn fruit basket scene is gold. replayed it a lot and got video and sent to my friends. usually the dinner fast eating trope is well overplayed, but this was a delight to see the demeanor change of all the guards and how they protect the crew from the marines.
