Do you disagree? This might be one of the most baffling posts I've read in a while. I don't even know what gamergate has to do with anything. Why are you like bringing a completely unrelated issue into this argument? Like what kind of response are you trying to get here?

I'm literally talking about gamer review scores and the so called journalism sites that don't actually hire from the writer sphere nor even play the games to full or under several context, like other difficulties. The standard of reviews is painfully low, and if you have proof to say otherwise, I'd be extremely glad to hear it. Gone are the days of early Destructoid when every now and then somebody would be pulling out a 10+ page worth diatribe on something like No More Heroes. These journalists get a month at best to rush through a game, run by opinions to 3 other people who haven't played the game, who compile and slap on some arbitrary score based on how much views they're able to garner. Views are important as they are ad revenue, which these sites live off of.

This is purely about video games? Gamergate? Wtf lmfao jesus christ, here, let me do it too. Are you into conspiracy theories?

Would you have preferred me to say your post gave me boomer vibes? I said it gave me gamer gate vibes because many gamer gaters were trying to disguise their complaint of feminist and "woke" media with junk like "ethics of journalism" and how gaming journalism was better back then than it was now. Your post gives me passive aggressive vibes of the positive reception the game seems to be getting. Just remember, it's only a preview and it can very well be WB just showing the best parts of the game (I'm putting my money on that), but it could also just be a good video game.

And weird of you asking if I'm into conspiracy theories when your whole post was coming off as one. It just sounds like a case of you disagreeing with a game's review score and making assumptions about the gaming journalism industry as a whole. I disagree a lot with many game review scores like gaming sites constantly giving CoD games 10/10 scores, but that doesn't mean I'm going to make an assumption as a whole regarding a whole industry.
