They were both well received by viewers and critics, so it isn't completely out of left field. Honestly I don't think any recent CBM, Avatar 2, or TG:M deserve the award or even a nom. Avatar has like 77% on rottentomatoes and 65% on metacritic, well received is a stretch Get rid of all 4 and this show appeals to such a small audience. I dont even know if general audiences would enjoy some of these oscar bait movies. My non moving going friends that ventured out and tried everything, everywhere were so hit or miss with it ...
