There weren't really any pacing issues until later episodes.judging by what i've seen from pace and piece, pace just goes so much faster. it removes the middle episode cuts, the title card, it doesn't start next episode with scenes from prior episode, no flackbacks from an episode or two earlier, and just generally goes through episodes faster.
