| Hard_Light 12/30/22 4:42:15 PM #8: | yeah? they've offered contracts and everything\ i think it's viewed as more of a minecraft situation for it, just because of how much money it makes. keeping something like starfield, tes, fallout exclusive makes more sense because, while they are financial blockbusters, there isn't as much of a need to keep something like that multiplatform. there's no multiplayer (ignoring the two exceptions, one of which isn't crossplay anyways), so it's not that necessary to push it to as many people as possible to lure them into mtx hell aside from that, microsoft is pushing heavily to get games to more and more people very easily with xcloud and gamepass. it was a meme last gen that xbox would just go third party, but there is some truth to that already, since they want to put gamepass on everything --- if you can forget there are bandits, and dragons to slay don't forget that you defend an empty space ...
