| alphagamble 12/25/22 7:52:54 PM #12: | So I beat the game, some thoughts. The story was poor and I have a hard time understanding how all this shit went down the day before RE1. A bit baffled by the antagonist in this one as well and how neither Billy & Rebecca know who he is until the last 20 minutes of the game. The stakes just don't feel high enough or why the bad guy is even wasting his time with them. I couldn't warm to Rebecca. Useless both in terms of story and gameplay. Really liked Billy though, would like to see him return to the series in the future. Gameplay & Graphics still hold up only to be let down by having to drag the AI around with me and pu tup with the terrible inventory. Would it have killed them to give us two extra squares? It's a shame that the game peaked on the train. The setting was so good but that the horror atmosphere just completely evaporated. Overall I didn't hate it but it's down at the bottom with Revelations 1 for me And fuck the Hookshot --- ooh ... Copied to Clipboard! |
