Best advice is not to work hard. Hard work gets you more work at Walmart.

I'll never embrace this idea of "I'm only going to work x% of my total output capacity because I personally think that is how much their pay per hour is worth."
Like, it's your job. You were given the job description and told how much you were getting paid before you ever punched in for your first shift.

I believe a lot of it has to do with it being an accountability and mindset thing... I'll forever thank my dad for drilling it into my head. Because of him and I won't allow myself to do a shit job at work because I'm not willing to sign my name to something of poor quality. If I'm going to do something, especially where other people are depending on me to perform - then I'm giving it full effort.
