#34:

Quebec track ranking

15. The Fucked Jam (Track #12)
Score: 44 (Average Rank: 12/15)
Biggest Fan(s): MetalmindStats (#5)
Biggest Detractor(s): Johnbobb, hotdogturtle (#15)

jcgamer107: Is it fucked? Yes. But is it a jam? Yes.

Johnbobb: I got frustrated listening to this because my spotify when hooked up to my car sometimes randomly pauses itself or skips and I couldn't tell if that was happening or if that was part of the song

BlueCrystalTear: Is this thing working? That's the point, I get it, but it's still weird.

hotdogturtle: I would like this song if it had any more substance. But as of right now it's basically nothing at all. With just a bit more I could see this being like my #3 or something.

14. Captain (Track #9)
Score: 56 (Average Rank: 10.91/15)
Biggest Fan(s): hotdogturtle (#7)
Biggest Detractor(s): jcgamer107, MetalmindStats (#14)

jcgamer107: Captaaaiinnnnnnn....hurry up and skip this song

BlueCrystalTear: zzzzz

13. Alcan Road (Track #13)
Score: 62 (Average Rank: 10.73/15)
Biggest Fan(s): HBJDubs (#2)
Biggest Detractor(s): Raetsel_Lapin, jcgamer107, FoolFantastic, Seanchan (#15)

jcgamer107: The only forgettable track on the album

BlueCrystalTear: Forgettable filler that goes on too long. A worse version of "Captain."

12. Hey There Fancypants (Track #8)
Score: 63 (Average Rank: 10.27/15)
Biggest Fan(s): Raetsel_Lapin, Seanchan (#4)
Biggest Detractor(s): neonreaper (#15)

jcgamer107: Hehe funny fancypants song

11. Among His Tribe (Track #4)
Score: 77 (Average Rank: 9/15)
Biggest Fan(s): HBJDubs (#4)
Biggest Detractor(s): Johnbobb, Seanchan (#13)

jcgamer107: Really cool soundscape here, especially in the bridge

BlueCrystalTear: The first amazingly atmospheric song on the album, and for good reason since it's the best of them.

10. So Many People in the Neighborhood (Track #5)
Score: 86 (Average Rank: 8.91/15)
Biggest Fan(s): Johnbobb (#1)
Biggest Detractor(s): BlueCrystalTear, HBJDubs (#15)

jcgamer107: Paranoia in musical form

Johnbobb: I cannot explain why I love this song as much as I do

BlueCrystalTear: This is awful. Just awful. Sorry, Johnbobb. It feels like I'm taking acid and puking my guts out... it's also just six words long.

hotdogturtle: I can see why some people wouldn't like this song (especially in the lyrics department), but if you give me a song that sounds like this on a mostly rock(?) album, of course I'm gonna like it.

9. Chocolate Town (Track #10)
Score: 91 (Average Rank: 7.91/15)
Biggest Fan(s): BlueCrystalTear (#2)
Biggest Detractor(s): hotdogturtle (#13)

jcgamer107: So soothing, a 10/10 song for summer driving with the windows down

BlueCrystalTear: Hard to believe this country-rock song is on the same album as some of the others!

8. Zoloft (Track #2)
Score: 95 (Average Rank: 7.36/15)
Biggest Fan(s): MetalmindStats (#4)
Biggest Detractor(s): HBJDubs (#13)

jcgamer107: A little hypocritical, since, for a long time, Gene and Dean had no problem with recreational drugs lol. Still, it's a good song - definitely captures the 'uncomfortably numb' feeling some psych meds can give you. Gimme that P-R-O-Z-A-C.

BlueCrystalTear: Would be higher if not for the weird sound effects that distract me too much.

7. If You Could Save Yourself (You'd Save Us All) (Track #15)
Score: 101 (Average Rank: 7.45/15)
Biggest Fan(s): HBJDubs (#1)
Biggest Detractor(s): MarkS2222222222 (#15)

6. I Don't Want It (Track #11)
Score: 106 (Average Rank: 7.09/15)
Biggest Fan(s): neonreaper (#1)
Biggest Detractor(s): MarkS2222222222, MetalmindStats (#13)

jcgamer107: relatable :(

5. It's Gonna Be a Long Night (Track #1)
Score: 107 (Average Rank: 7/15)
Biggest Fan(s): Seanchan (#1)
Biggest Detractor(s): MetalmindStats (#15)

jcgamer107: This is how you start an album. I want this played at my funeral.... because I will instantly revive and start partying. A great tribute to Motorhead-type bands.

4. The Argus (Track #14)
Score: 107 (Average Rank: 6.36/15)
Biggest Fan(s): HBJDubs (#3)
Biggest Detractor(s): Johnbobb (#10)

jcgamer107: To me this is like 'The Mollusk' 2.0 - another track that sounds like a folk song about some ancient mythical creature

BlueCrystalTear: Something about this one feels familiar for whatever reason.

3. Happy Colored Marbles (Track #7)
Score: 112 (Average Rank: 6.64/15)
Biggest Fan(s): Raetsel_Lapin, hotdogturtle (#1)
Biggest Detractor(s): MarkS2222222222 (#12)

jcgamer107: Love how it goes from weird psychedelic sound to an explosion of insane energy 2 minutes in

BlueCrystalTear: First half is catchy as can be. The last minute is like somebody dropped a nuclear bomb on it, and this ruins the song.

jcgamer (responding to BCT): this is a good description but I view it as a positive

2. Tried and True (Track #6)
Score: 144 (Average Rank: 4.27/15)
Biggest Fan(s): FoolFantastic, MarkS2222222222, MetalmindStats (#1)
Biggest Detractor(s): Seanchan (#8)

jcgamer107: Very nice acoustic guitar

BlueCrystalTear: A nice acoustic pace-changer. I like those better than the others.

1. Transdermal Celebration (Track #3)
Score: 146 (Average Rank: 4.09/15)
Biggest Fan(s): jcgamer107, BlueCrystalTear (#1)
Biggest Detractor(s): HBJDubs (#10)

jcgamer107: It's hard to describe how I felt the first time I heard the guitar solo. It was an overwhelming, spiritual experience, like God reaching down from heaven to take my hand and tell me everything's going to be okay. My 3rd eye was opened and I think I almost cried.

BlueCrystalTear: This is just a banger.
