This was happening on a saturday so before he picked me up I had my usual saturday lunch of three bacon sandwiches and my pint mug of coffee. So I get into his car and he tells me that his mum will make us lunch. So there I was 45 minutes or so later tucking into a full English breakfast. To say I was full is an understatement.
