GRRM's and Sanderson's writing styles are very different. Sanderson doesn't even like ASoIaF and has no interest in writing it, much less reading it past the first book. and there would be absolutely no reason why GRRM would want someone like Sanderson to finish writing his books. Sanderson's beliefs and preferences on what he likes to write about make him a complete mismatch for such a proposition. Yeah I love Sanderson but no way could he pick up GRRMs books.
