The worse type of people flock to gaming. You gotta find a forum or something and find a respectable community already accumulated to actually have good fun with strangers. Im not black or a woman but when I turn on a game, hearing sexist and racist shit constantly is still gonna completely kill my drive to want to play. Those types pretty much took over open gaming and I don't see it changing.
