They're pretty close to Portugal in strength and usually performs well against top teams. Winning the group with France in 06 and beating eventual WC winners Spain in 10 come to mind. They also knocked France out of the Euros a year ago and knocked Euro winners Italy out of WC qualifications for something relevant to this squad.
