Like, sure, video games changed. Legend of Zelda isn't anything like it used to be. Final Fantasy is not even turn based anymore. Assassin's Creed is not Prince of Persia and now it's not even close to what Assassin's Creed used to be. Even Pokemon changed and is now open world.
But, even if they changed, they are still great games. And even if not them, then there are plenty of other great games in the world.
But if you are still too much narrow minded, and only want games that are exactly like your childhood because for some reason your brain stopped growing or I dunno -
What's the problem with some indies?
Want a oldschool Harvest Moon experience? play Stardew Valley
Want 2D Zelda? play Tunic
Want oldschool Pokemon? play one of the million of fanhacks
Want oldschool Final Fantasy? plenty of RPGs to choose from. Some remakes too that are loyal to the original source but with improved graphics
Want Final Fantasy Tactics? plenty of Tactics games. Tactics Ogre just got a remake too
Like, seriously what the fuck is so wrong with you?
Tactics Ogre is amazing. Already played it on PSP, though!
