Yeah my friend there was telling me the work life balance there is amazing. Hardly any meetings passed 4 pm. Were expected to work 9-6 every day at my current job and always have late meetings and as a mom its a lot for me. Tons of holidays off, unlimited PTO (which Ive had everywhere tbh but nice they have it too) and no one cares how many hours you put in as long as the job gets done. They also cover fertility benefits so if I ever want to thaw some of my frozen embryos they would pay for the procedure.

Thanks! Its kind of cheating since I knew people on the team. When the role opened, my friend reached out but I was already at this new company so I said no. But after a few weeks of my boss being crazy, I contacted my friend back and said I was interested. Got interviews right away.

Its crazy because they had over 1,000 people apply because of all the recruiters who have been laid off. I feel a bit guilty that I got moved up the front of the line for knowing someone. But thats the name of the game right now sadly. The other person who got the first role is actually someone else I know who knew people there too.
