I think being optimistic of others in public serves me well. It definitely prevents a lot of complaining. It's more fun to make fun of your own derps in public. Like, if I was that dude, Id go to my people and make jokes about how I got someone irritated because I misunderstood how the place worked. I wouldn't really hold it against you, despite how it might seem when Im arguing back. Im simply arguing that maybe your perception isn't error proof.
