I used to do sports like volleyball and hachijojima daiko and go running 3x a week, but now I get winded after 2 flights of stairs. Because of that, I've put on a ton of weight in the last 3 years. Like almost 30kg. It may be helpful to think of exercise as a way of dealing with stress. And using your diet to control weight. People who use exercise as a way of managing weight, but don't adopt exercise as a lifestyle, typically gain the weight back (and then some). But the results are incredible for a short while. I'd advise getting SelectTech dumbells (the 5-50 pound ones are great) and an inexpensive bench that fits your needs, and you can lift whenever you want. You can look into a light cardio program of lunges and squats and sit ups. I guess my main thought is that you should be mindful of activities that are transformative but aren't part of your lifestyle. It's better to see small results in a lifestyle that you will maintain your whole life. --- Donny: Are they gonna hurt us, Walter? Walter: No, Donny. These men are cowards. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
