My whole point is that I wouldn't consider someone like you a legit actual "PC gamer". Tell me if I'm wrong.

1. You are afraid to open up your PC to upgrade it.
2. You are confused whenever you open up the graphical settings
3. You basically just run with the recommended settings for most games you play.

You already aren't running at 60 fps with the games you are playing especially if you have a 1060 (a six year old card that was mid tier when it was new).

You may not realize it but you are already getting the treatment that the console gamers are getting. The recommended setting is 30 fps with vsync on and low to mid graphics for most of the new'ish games you are playing. Of course you have no idea what I'm talking about because you aren't a real pc gamer but trust me its true.

You don't know that because you are a PC gamer in the sense that you own a pc and game on it but you have no idea what is going on other than you hit the play button and hope it works.
