But they have a specific style and design philosophy that they try to stick to or risk having a game be too different from the series to be considered a part of it. To say Pokemon hasn't innovated at all would be a lie, just look at Legends as evidence of that. But I do think they keep too tight a leash around their new ideas, instead of letting them reach higher potential (ie.
