I've never played a PoP game so I'd need to understand how its time travel mechanics work first, but it does seem like an uphill battle for DK

he can rewind time even while on the brink of death, usually by about ~5-10 seconds at a time, so he can undo most damage that he takes until his sands of time run out (which fill over time and also whenever he kills enemies)

not that he would even need to because the dude is basically a ninja warrior guy that's killed dudes much, much stronger than DK

and that's without taking into account his Dark Prince form into account (not sure if this is just Sands of Time Prince or what) but if he has that it goes from a one-sided fight to a massacre
