Looking to invest in optics for my AR.

Currently have a Sig Romeo MSR because it was cheap when I bought the rifle, and I just lumped it into the price.

Now, my issue is this..

Do I want an EOTech or Vortex holographic? Sure.

Do I want to drop 400-700 dollars? I do not.

There are less financially damaging options, like grabbing the Sig Juliet magnifier to make my red dot more viable at a longer distance. Thatll set me back about 169.00 with Palmettos Labor Day deals.

Or do I just bite the proverbial bullet and get the EOTech or the Vortex?

Or, another option, an LPVO. They vary in price from affordable to astronomical.

The practical application is engaging targets from 15-250 yards, with reliability and without much need for adjustments.

Anyone have any experience with the red dot magnifiers? Worth the investment? Not worth it?

Any input is great.

FYI, this is for my work gun. Work just isnt going to pay for it. Classic.
I'd recommend a ACSS reticle based LPVO.

Once you try out the ACSS reticle, you'll never want any optic without it.

It's that damn simple and quick to learn / use.
