| GuessMyUserName 08/26/22 1:13:02 AM #377: | boomers got this really rigid worldview of a time in life that really didn't pan out for future generations it's so weird hearing them talk about degrees like they're a magic ticket to amazing jobs, they don't get that their generation pushed degrees onto all their kids so it's really not a special thing to us meanwhile my dad boasts about back in the day of all the completely different jobs he's had in his lifetime before he settled on teaching - he doesn't get how much higher qualifications are now, and how many jobs he got that he was absolutely unqualified for (instead he uses the simple fact that he landed those jobs as a credential for him to claim he knows everything about each field) --- I request affiliated many pipes.
