I mean, there are people in this world who will feed your pets poisoned food in the hopes of killing them because they hate you, it's not out of the question that someone might try to poison your flowers by watering them with weed killer. Though yeah, the rest of the story makes them look pretty bad in general. The bodycam footage shows the guy holding a regular garden hose. So that's not much of a concern.
