People really out here saying getting annoyed at Bakugo not being dead is dumb because we should know that MHA is a merch machine first and it's totally acceptable that it wouldn't stick.
I don't think knowing why something lame happens in the story means it's not OK to be annoyed that it sucks.
I'm fine with him getting revived if it happens. As I mentioned earlier, it would be fairly jarring for Deku to save Shigaraki after he discovers Bakugo's dead. Even more so if they are just chilling as friends in the epilogue. Of course there's the chance that doesn't happen or it purely saves his soul type of thing before he ultimately dies anyway. But it's been made clear that saving Tomura is a pretty big plot point and important to the previous holders so it would be a surprise if Deku does a U-turn on trying to save him especially given his character
