| SeabassDebeste 08/15/22 6:32:26 AM #211: | oh hey i've at least heard of violet evergarden. didn't winf up watching it precisely because i thought the past premise felt overwrought, even though the present storyline seemed interesting in general if seasons are distinct then i'm much more apt to give high rankings to shows with really good stretches, since i can remember those good moments, even if (usually later) parts are iffier - there have been a few where you said the second halves really dragged them down i'm thinking of stuff like trigun, where the second half and final arc were like, okay, but really when i think of my love of the series, it's all tilted toward the first half --- yet all azuarc of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
