Like it was clear they didn't want me leaving that room without giving them an answer.They also had other people to tell "We chose someone else." This is why they didn't give you much more time. One time, my sister was hiring and her first choice asked for another two weeks "to think it over." My sister wasn't born yesterday so she knew it was that this person was waiting on another job. She gave said applicant one more day to decide because she had to tell everybody else that they didn't get the job, and that certainly couldn't wait two weeks. The applicant said no, though I don't know if she got the other job she wanted. --- [This post adds nothing to the discussion but for whatever reason I felt the need to say it anyway.] ...
