No. Thats ridiculous. But when you combine I know I sell them [cars] with a correction of temporarily helping out his friend, who owns a dealership, sell cars then I think its safe to guess that through his own admission HES SELLING CARS.

Fuck it, adjl, you win. The guy that admitted to selling cars at a place that sells cars, for the guy that owns the place that sells cars isnt a car salesman. I dont know what to tell you, because Im not even going to bother with the accounting stance at this point.
