I've never liked Mafia-like games, and to have one blow up to such epic proportions that it becomes so stupidly pervasive is extremely irritating. Honestly, it hardly matters what Among Us was. It just became too much. It was inescapable. It also won 2020 best mobile game awards after debuting multiple years previously, which it feels like it should have never been eligible for. So in that regard, it also feels illegitimate.
