Yeah for sure. There are certain missions in the whole trilogy that are just better when you bring along certain squad members. Whether it's party interaction, quick funny quips, or just a bunch of insight that a certain member can only provide.

That's why it blows my mind with Javik. They introduce him in the third game of the trilogy, but it's a goddamn Prothean. The one race of aliens that had a mysterious aura around them(even more so than the Reapers, imo), and yet you had to pre order the game in order to get access to him.

Like I get it from a business stand point. Still pretty scummy!

Also after the very hot start of this game, it really slows down. Not that it's necessarily bad but I think it hampers my pacing, and I say my pacing, because this is unique to me(in the sense of how I play the game). I like to do all the side assignments, talk to everyone that I can, go through all the dialogue options before I move onto all the 'important' missions. I even did Palaven, but the pacing does drop to a crawl. Personally I think it hampers the gameplay to have Kaiden/Ashley out along with Javik with these early missions. Though I get it for story reasons. Kaiden got his ass kicked, and Javik has been sleeping for 50,000 years.

Also does anyone know what happens if Garrus is dead and you go to Pavalen? Does that whole thing with him showing up just not happen? Or is he replaced?
