Would The Exorcist or heck even Citizen Kane fare much better in such a discussion? Trying to act like Avatar should have been the next Star Wars is ridiculous. Comparisons to Cameron's own Titanic are more understandable but you're still talking about a two-person period romance vs. a science fiction film.
